The wild Sockey Salmon served up at the Brickhouse Café has been personally provided by resident wild man and co-founder, Fred Reeves. Caught from the Nushagak River, off of Bristol Bay, AK, Fred brings it back to be grilled or house smoked, then served in a variety of ways throughout our menus.
The Brickhouse Café's extremely popular Wagyu "Kobe" beef burger meat also hails from farmer Fred's personal resources, having been bred and raised (both Fred and the cattle) on his family's farm. The cattle are literally hand-picked for our menu.
The Brickhouse Café is about a pop-fly away from AT&T Ballpark for Giant's games and other local happenings. Just far enough away from the surrounding mayhem that it won't take 25 minutes to get a beer. We've got a great pre and post game lineup, with full breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch menus.
We are also a short walking distance from the Moscone Center and SF MOMA.
We also provide a full bar bosting a myriad of fresh, housemade cocktail concoctions, a great draft beer selection, excellent hand-picked bavarian beer bottles and a small wine menu which is wonderfully unique, yet reasonably priced.

Brickhouse Café partners, Fred Reeves and Kim Kobasic, are currently engaged to be married. The question was popped in June, 2008...a wedding date has yet to be set.
The Brickhouse Café is proud and loud, card carrying member of the South Beach/Mission Bay Merchant's Association
The team of horses pulling a wheat combine (pictured in the bathroom of the Brickhouse Café) was driven by Fred's great, great grandfather on his 1000 acre farm in Seltice, WA. Nannie, his great grandmother, could name each and every one of the 32 horses up until her passing, at the age of 93yrs old.
Kim and Fred's engagement is still on as of November, 2011...still no date set.
